Virtual tour

This virtual tour assumes the visitor is arriving in Mount Morgan by car from Rockhampton. It takes the virtual visitor quickly through the main points of interest and tries to convey a sense of the town.

Once a large and wealthy town, Mount Morgan has several grand buildings interspersed with classic Queenslander cottages set around hills and on the banks of the River Dee.

Sadly many of the houses have been removed and others are in need of repair. But it is still possible to get a glimpse of the bustling town that once served the big mine.
